Lynette has over 30 years of experience, specializing in group benefits, individual medical, and Medicare products. She feels it is important to work closely with her business owners and administrators because of the relationships and trust that manifest through the "hands-on" environment. Lynette believes that doing what is right, always being honest and upfront, being an advocate for the client, and putting the client first is the major factor of the Pilot success. In addition to her husband Rick, Lynette has two married sons, and three grandchildren. When she is not at work, Lynette enjoys spending time at the beach with her family and friends. |
Barbara Funchess, Account Manager

Originally from Va. Beach, Barbara graduated with her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Old Dominion University with a concentration in Human Resources. She has over 20 years of HR Management and Employee Benefits Administration experience working with employers and employees. In her role as Account Manager, she is able to assist clients with their group benefits, as well as answer questions about HR functions and guidelines, as well as provides support and service for claims and billing issues. Barbara has three sons. In her spare time, Barbara enjoys spending time with family and friends, baking, traveling, playing paintball with sons, and spending time at the beach. |

Originally from Martinsville, VA, Toni moved to Greensboro, NC after graduating from Old Dominion University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English with a concentration in Creative Writing. She has over 30+ years of experience in the insurance industry including Client Services, Office Operations and Account Management. She is able to assist clients with various service aspects including benefit inquiries, employee maintenance, member portal setup and claims. Outside of work, Toni enjoys spending time with friends and family and experimenting with new recipes. |
Jennifer Hermen-Beale, Account Support Specialist

Jennifer comes to us from the Great Lakes region of Erie, Pennsylvania. Graduating from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania with a bachelor’s degree in Communications, she has over twenty plus years in management, customer service, and sales. As an Account Support Specialist, she will assist clients with updating enrollment and changes in policies. Jennifer enjoys working with people and helping them whenever possible by providing the best customer service and support. While spending time with her family and friends is her favorite pastime, she also enjoys photography, making jewelry, and is an avid movie buff. |
Zinnia Oyler, Enrollments and Terminations Specialist

Coming from the Smith Mountain Lake area of Bedford, Virginia, Zinnia is our Enrollments and Terminations Specialist. She administers the new hire benefits, changes and terminations for our group clients and assists our Account Managers where needed. Coming from a background of eight plus years in customer service and sales, she deeply values helping clients. Outside of her work, Zinnia has a passion for creating art, listening to music, and taking care of her cat, Mochi. |

Savannah was born and raised in North Carolina. In her role as Account Support Specialist, she will be working closely with the Account Managers on running quotes, assisting with renewals and working with Human Resources of our clients to provide information to their employees. In her spare time, Savannah enjoys spending time with family and friends, going to the beach, making dreamcatchers and watching TV. She also loves spending time with her dogs. |
